All proceeds from the sale of this book will be contributed to a new student award created by Stephen Woollcombe to honour his grandfather’s legacy in a tangible, practical way.

The G. P. Woollcombe Award for Service and Effort

A special fund has been created to provide a student with financial assistance to allay the cost of tuition in her or his final year of study at Ashbury college. It will be awarded to the student judged by a panel of senior teachers to best embody the Founder’s core values as an educator of 1) service to others and 2) effort to do one’s best.

So, purchasing the book will make a small contribution to a worthy cause.
